Big Hearted Books & Clothing Inc. collects unwanted media, including books, records, CDs, video games and DVDs all throughout New England, and redistributes them to people who can use them. Established in 2009, Big Hearted Books & Clothing Inc. keeps more than 5000 tons of books out of landfills annually. Ninety percent of the books collected by Big Hearted Books & Clothing are repurposed. RETURN POLICY Return policy for items ordered by mistake or no longer needed: Big Hearted Books sells books at the lowest possible price to give you a great deal on used books. Because of our rock bottom prices, we cannot lose money on returns for items ordered in error or no longer needed. Returned orders made by mistake of the buyer will be assessed on a case by case basis and refunds are not guaranteed. When a book is returned, Big Hearted Books has already paid Amazon’s fees and the cost of listing, processing, and packaging the book. None of these costs will be recovered by Big Hearted Books. In order to cover these costs, the amount refunded will be calculated by: Current lowest listing price of that book when the return request is received, minus a restocking fee of 20% of buyer’s purchase price, minus the cost of Priority Mail shipping back to Big Hearted Books. Big Hearted Books will supply a Priority Mail prepaid return shipping label to be used within 2 business days of the return request. Buyer will be refunded once the returned book is received by Big Hearted Books. Refunds will only be granted for return requests submitted to us within 7 days of the receipt of the item. Return policy for damaged or inaccurately listed items: If an error was made by Big Hearted Books, we will authorize the return upon request. We may ask that you ship the item back to us, in which case you will be refunded in full plus reimbursed for all shipping charges. Occasionally, we may not want the book back, in which case we will issue the refund in full and request that you donate or recycle the book. Big Hearted Books carefully follows Amazon’s condition guidelines, but mistakes can happen. If you don’t feel we described the condition properly, please email us with pictures of the problem. If we are at fault, we will replace or refund the book and shipping costs. Please contact us and we’ll fix the problem, don’t just leave us negative feedback. Negative feedback greatly hurts our business and we’d like to be given a chance to correct the problem instead. What we do not cover: Books that are returned or refused without prior authorization will not be refunded. Submit a return request before sending it back or refusing the delivery. Books that come back to us due to insufficient address will not be refunded. Please make sure your address on file with Amazon is up to date; we will only ship to the address you have on file with Amazon. We cannot change your shipping address after you place the order. We will not issue a refund if you are unhappy with the condition of an item that is described accurately in the listing. Please read item descriptions carefully before placing an order.
