Companion Books!

Companion Book is an independently owned book store in Burnaby, BC (about 5 miles from downtown Vancouver). The majority (about 90%) of our stock of 60,000 titles is used books, and we also carry some new books to better serve our customers (mostly the high demand soft covers that we cannot get enough used copies of). Our focus is our customers and our neighborhood. We provide clean, “like new” books, in a likewise clean, well lit, and very well organized store. Since opening in 2004 we found that, in the normal course of business, many scarce and collectible books came our way. We began selling on the Internet in 2005 so that we could reach a wider market for these books and find them good homes too. Since then our Internet customers have also become in important part of our business and we provide them the same prompt, courteous service that we do our in-store friends.
