Log Barn Books and Things

We appreciate all of the people who order from us. We do our best to give quality service. We also try to recycle products for shipping to keep the earth going strong and to keep costs down to make a profit for our own needs as well as yours. If you do not like clean recycled packaging, used items, then please do not order from us. We try to keep costs and pollution down by recycling. We are fundraising for medical, historical, and home needs. Pat has a chronic cancer in which very expensive targeted therapy medication is needed daily for a lifetime. She also has Dystonia which is a painful neurological movement disorder. She also has some joint issues which is leading to deterioration. We are attempting to live our dream. We bought a 10 acre property which has historic buildings we are trying to restore. We currently live in a granary which we are slowly but surely turning into our handicap accessible home for our future needs. There is also a mid 19th century log barn that we are restoring to it’s original state as well as an old 3 room stone house and a log home that is in jeopardy of falling. The historic nature of these 19th century buildings is that they were built by the first Belgian Immigrants to the Wisconsin area. They luckily survived the great fire that ravaged the area on October 8, 1871 in the Town of Brussels, WI. Thanks to all for looking at our information and buying from us. All donations go to a great cause.
