CosmicToyShop’s Return Policy 1) We must be notified of the return within 7 days of your receipt of the product. 2) The product must still be in MINT FACTORY SEALED CONDITION. If a child opens a toy, plays with it and breaks it, we cannot accept it back. If opened and/or un-sellable merchandise is returned to us we cannot refund the merchandise and we will not be able to reimburse you for shipping. If the item’s factory seal is broken, we cannot accept the item back. Please pack your returns carefully. 3) If the return was due to an error of ours (for instance, we accidentally sent the wrong merchandise), we will accept responsibility for all shipping costs related to the return. When shipping back the incorrect item to us, please use USPS 1st Class Mail or Parcel Post. If the package is too large or very valuable, please feel free to contact us so that we may arrange the return. Your account will be credited for return postage at the same time the refund is issued. 4) If the return is not due to an error of ours (i.e.- you ordered it and then decided later on that you don’t want it), the buyer accepts full responsibility for all shipping costs plus a 20% re-stocking fee will be deducted from your refund. 5) Package returned to us marked “Refused”, “Undeliverable”, or otherwise, are subject to up to a 30% re-stocking fee (This is solely to recoup our losses from charges we incur when this happens). If a package is lost or misdirected due to an incorrectly addressed parcel, CosmicToyShop.com is completely not responsible. We have no control over addresses typed on the checkout pages. Please make sure you have typed in the correct address. 6) DEFECTIVE ITEMS must be returned with all original packaging. Items will be tested when they are received back. If you are claiming that an item is defective, YOU MUST EMAIL US THE DETAILS REGARDING THE DEFECT and PROVIDE PHOTOS IF REQUESTED. Defective items are eligible for a full refund, including return shipping. Items that are not defective, simply in need of recharging, new batteries or other consumable parts, or falsely reported as defective or damaged, will be subject to a 50% restocking fee and will be charged for shipping both ways. 7) DAMAGED ITEMS must be retuned with all original packaging. Claims of damage must be made promptly as damage is generally immediately noticeable. YOU MUST EMAIL US THE DETAILS REGARDING THE DAMAGE AND PROVIDE PHOTOS OF THE DAMAGE TO THE ITEM. You will be required to submit an online affidavit attesting to the damage for insurance purposes, as all our parcels are insured against damage. Damaged items are eligible for a full refund, including return shipping. Items that were damaged after receipt (through play) or falsely reported as damaged are not eligible for return and such claims will be reported. Orders returned to us that have discounted or free shipping may be subject to higher re-stocking fees. Refunds are usually issued within 7 business days of us receiving the product back. During the holiday season, please allow up to two weeks for a credit to be issued. Please don’t forget to include your order number with any return! CosmicToyShop’s Cancellation Policy Orders may be cancelled as long as they have not been processed – usually the next business day. During the Holiday Season Dec. 3rd thru Dec. 30th we cannot cancel orders once they are placed. Please contact us to see if your order has not yet been processed and can still be cancelled.
