Ninety nine percent of all orders are mailed either same day or next business day. We use sturdy reliable packing materials (rigid mailers or boxes) that will prevent your purchase from being damaged in transit. If you have placed an order you can trust that it has been mailed as quickly as possible. With the exception of Fridays and Saturdays, this usually means within about 24 hours. As Amazon indicates in all their order confirmations, "standard shipping" can take up to 14 business days. In our experience most customers receive their items within 10 business days or less. However, the US Postal Service can be fickle at times and sometimes temporarily "loses" a package. Amazon estimates that in such situations a book might take as long as 21 business days. This is extremely rare, but it happens.
